The Author
CxO. Writer. Coach. Founder of Inward to Upward.
Aysha Khan is the founder of Inward to Upward, a space for those returning to themselves. She writes to let universal truths be felt in experience: quiet, contemplative pieces where language does the heavy lifting, and truth is told gently.
Two decades at the intersection of leadership and human transformation taught her that both require the same honesty. For years she has sat with people in the hours when their titles are of no use to them. Much of her writing was learned there.
“Softness is not weakness,
and the longest journey is always inward.”
The belief behind the book
What the River Knows is her first illustrated watercolor book: ten conversations between a seeker and a river, painted in the colors of an autumn valley. It was not written at a desk. The lessons were found in quiet rooms, one conversation at a time, with people who carry weight steadily and rarely have anywhere to set it down.
That work continues, in her writing at Inner Alchemy, and one to one, with a few people at a time.
